About ACE LaunchPad:

At ACE LaunchPad, we recognize the challenges faced by aspiring entrepreneurs in resource-limited educational environments. Our pioneering initiative aims to foster a vibrant culture of entrepreneurship within ACE Engineering College, igniting the spirit of innovation and creativity.

Program Overview and Kick-off (Aug 21st): ACE LaunchPad commenced its journey on August 21st, dedicated to nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among students.

Orientation for First-Year Students (August 21st): The program began with an orientation for first-year students, introducing them to the world of entrepreneurship.

Orientation Session – Senior Students – (Sept 14th, 15th & Oct 13th): Orientation sessions for fourth, third, and second-year students provided valuable insights into entrepreneurship and the importance of research in innovation.

Support for Internal Smart India Hackathon (Sept 21st & 22nd): Active participation in the internal Smart India Hackathon included judging and shortlisting ideas for submission.

Student & Faculty Meetup with our Director Madam (Oct & Nov ‘23): A student meetup in October allowed students to showcase prototypes. A virtual faculty meetup in November addressed faculty ideas.

Industrial Visit (Oct 31st): Final year EEE & MECH students had an insightful industry visit to CMAC India on October 31st, gaining exposure to manufacturing and engineering.

EEE Internal Ideathon (Nov 3rd): ACE LaunchPad actively participated as judges in the internal EEE Specific Ideathon, shortlisting ideas for the first pre-incubation cohort.

Startup Open Mic (15th Nov): Guided by industry experts, Startup Open Mic featured virtual insights, connecting students with industry leaders and fostering collaborations.

Industrial Visit (Nov 18th): An insightful industrial visit for Civil Engineering students explored the under-construction commercial site at Jubilee Hills.

Knowledge Hour (Nov 20th): Conducted at the Incubation Center, the Knowledge Hour session refined pitch presentation skills for Demo Day, with active participation from 40 students.

Startup Demo Day (Dec 9th): Coordinated by ACE LaunchPad, Startup Demo Day was a grand success, providing valuable feedback and shortlisting 18 ideas for the first pre-incubation cohort.

FDP – ‘Nurturing Academic Excellence’ (Dec 16th): ACE LaunchPad hosted an FDP program featuring insightful sessions, inaugurated by the Principal, Mr. B L Raju.

Seminar on Empowering Student Careers (Dec 29th): ACE LaunchPad’s seminar lead by Expert Mr. Venkateswara Rao, CEO, Anki Solar, on advanced methodologies for future careers and startups, held on December 29th, showcased the importance of student entrepreneurship.
