Dr. B.L. Raju is a distinguished academic and researcher with a B.E., M.Tech, and Ph.D. from JNTUH. With 32 years of experience across teaching, research, and academic leadership, Dr. Raju is currently serving as Principal at ACE Engineering College. His specialization lies in VLSI Design, and he has taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Dr. Raju’s employment record reflects his leadership roles, having worked as Professor, Head of Department, Dean, Principal, and Director across various colleges. Dr. Raju’s extensive research work includes guiding 8 Ph.D. students and published 86 papers in National and International Journals and Conferences. He has successfully carried out 2 major projects, filed 18 patents (10 of which have been granted), and has contributed to technological advancements in VLSI through active research and technology transfer.
In addition to his academic and research achievements, Dr. Raju has been instrumental in organizing numerous professional events to foster knowledge sharing and skill development. His contributions include organized 16 conferences, 7 refresher programs, and 24 workshops.
An accomplished author, he has published the book Machine Learning & Algorithms for Beginners and Experienced Professionals. His contributions extend to organizing seminars, workshops, and refresher courses, enriching academic and professional communities. As a life member and fellow of esteemed organizations such as MISTE, FIETE, MIEEE, MVSI, and the VLSI Society of India, Dr. Raju continues to lead in advancing educational excellence and innovative research in engineering.
R&D Achievements:
- He has been guiding research works of 8 students, Registered for Ph.D at JNTUH Hyderabad, JNTU Anantapur & JNIAR Hyderabad, on VLSI & Smart Devices and is also guiding many students for Ph.D Work, as co-supervisor.
- Principal investigator of MODROB Project, grant of Rs. 10 Lakhs received in 2008 from AICTE, New Delhi, for ECE Dept. of JBIET, Hyderabad.
- Principal investigator of R&D project, grant of Rs. 13 Lakhs received in 2010 from AICTE, New Delhi, for ECE Dept. of JBIET, Hyderabad.
- He also Guided/Implemented private R&D projects in VLSI & Smart Antennas.
- He was awarded ‘Best Teacher’ Award by National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India) Taramani, Chennai.
Guest Lectures Delivered:
- He delivered Guest Lectures on Effective Teaching Methodologies/ VLSI/ Antenna & Wave Propagation in various Colleges.
