The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), ACE Engineering College, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on 16th July 2025 on the topic “Aerial Connectivity and Urban Air Mobility: Innovations Shaping the Future.”
The session was delivered by Dr. Kamesh Namuduri, Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of North Texas (UNT), USA. The lecture provided valuable insights into the emerging concepts of Aerial Connectivity, Urban Air Mobility (UAM), Autonomous Aerial Systems, Advanced Wireless Communication Networks, and the future of smart transportation technologies.
Dr. Kamesh Namuduri discussed the role of drones, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), next-generation communication systems, artificial intelligence, and intelligent transportation networks in transforming urban mobility and enabling efficient aerial communication infrastructure. He also highlighted current research trends, challenges, regulatory considerations, and future opportunities in the field of aerial communication and urban air mobility.
Faculty members and students actively participated in the session and interacted with the speaker during the question-and-answer session, gaining a deeper understanding of the latest technological advancements and research opportunities in the domain.
