The Central Library

The Open Access Central Library situated in the first floor of Block A is spread over a floor area of over 6030 Sq. Ft., (560.5Sq. M). The Library is a rich resource with nearly 36,460 books covering a wide range of disciplines viz., books in branches in which the engineering courses are offered, books for various competitive examinations etc. It subscribes to about 120 periodicals and learned journals both international and national, in core engineering subjects, Management, entrepreneurship, humanities, and soft skills. The library is also the custodian of 3555 CD ROMS covering various disciplines in addition to the volumes. The Library caters to the needs of undergraduate students, faculty members, and other employees of the College who are enrolled as members. The College reference section is a rich collection of standard text books for immediate and need based use by both students and faculty to facilitate selective dissemination of information, documentation, and bibliographical assistance.

The Library System:

The library coordinates a library system, which links the libraries in all the departments being maintained by the departments which serve as reference sections in the respective departments. A Competitive Examinations Reference Section is added to the library to cater to the needs of the candidates preparing for various competitive examinations like GATE, ESE, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, Recruitment tests held for various national and state PSUs in the technical and management areas etc. A rich collection of study material and solutions to the previous GATE and ESE questions contributed by the premier Coaching center, ACE Engineering Academy, is a special attraction for the students and faculty. Students desirous of preparing for these prestigious competitive examinations can make use of these resources and plan their preparation ahead.
A collection of nearly 1000 projects reports of students serves as a good reference to the students to provide them guidelines to do their projects.

Digital Library:

The digital library is a network of 17 computers facilitating access to various national and international resources as supplementary resources to the students and faculty. It provides access to NPTEL video lectures, DELNET resources, NDL (National Digital Library). The library team notifies the students and faculty of the various online resources available at regular intervals.projects.

Library Committee:

The library Committee comprised of and faculty form each department as executive members and one student from each department strives to keep the library rich with resources by inclusion of new books and other infrastructural needs of the library. Librarian is the convener of this Committee.
