The Research & Development (R&D) Cell, ACE Engineering College, organized a Student Awareness Programme on Research & Development on Tuesday, 22nd September 2026, for Third Year and Final Year students across all branches. The session, titled “Statistical Thinking for Data Science: A Systems Approach,” was held in the College Auditorium from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
The programme was conducted with Prof. Chillarige Raghavendra Rao, Former Senior Professor, School of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Hyderabad, and Former Honorary Director, R&D, VBIT, as the Resource Person. The session was organized under the guidance of the Chief Patrons and Patrons of the institution, and was coordinated by Dr. K. Kalaivani, Coordinator, Research & Development.
The event forms part of the R&D Cell’s ongoing initiative to broaden students’ outlook towards research, strengthen their analytical and problem-solving abilities, and motivate them to identify meaningful, socially relevant project ideas, in line with the Cell’s stated vision to “Think Beyond Boundaries, Innovate with Purpose, Research for Impact.”
