
The Central Library, located on the first floor of the Satyam block, covers over 1,140.52 square meters and is Wi-Fi-enabled with CCTV surveillance. It houses more than 44,643 books, including textbooks, reference materials, and journals in fields such as Engineering, Science, Technology, Management, and General Studies. The library subscribes to 108 periodicals and offers access to over 1,141 online journals via platforms like IEEE Xplore and DELNET. The collection is organized using the Dewey Decimal Classification, and the open-access system allows users to explore resources freely.
A specialized Competitive Examinations Reference Section supports students preparing for exams like GATE, GRE, and ESE, featuring study materials and solutions from ACE Engineering Academy. Additionally, the library's Audio Visual Rooms are equipped for multimedia presentations, recording lectures, and seminars, providing a modern, collaborative learning space.

Library Rules and Regulations
- All faculty, staff, and students must present a valid institutional ID card for entry and exit. Access is recorded via barcode scanning through the Library Management Software.
- For borrowing privileges, a valid identity card is mandatory.
- Personal belongings such as bags, backpacks, coats, aprons, and similar items are not permitted inside the library and must be deposited at the designated baggage counter at the entrance.
- Borrowing entitlements are as follows:
- Teaching faculty: up to 6 books per semester
- Non-teaching staff: up to 2 books per semester
- Students: up to 5 books for a period of 14 days
- Absolute silence must be observed at all times within the library premises.
- Only books, notebooks, pens, and personal electronic devices (mobile phones, tablets, and laptops) are permitted inside the library.
- Use of mobile phones for conversation is strictly prohibited. Devices may be used solely for academic purposes, such as reading e-content or accessing approved digital resources.
- Photography, video calls, video conferencing, and audio/video recording are strictly forbidden within the library premises.
- Borrowed books must be returned in the same condition as issued. Any missing pages, damage, or defects must be reported to library staff at the time of return.
- Books must be returned on or before the due date. Overdue items may incur fines as per prevailing library policy.
- Stamped (issued) books are not permitted to be brought back into the library premises.
- In the event of loss or irreparable damage to a borrowed book, the borrower must replace it with the same edition or the latest available edition. If replacement is not possible, compensation equivalent to twice the current cost of the book shall be paid.
- Any existing damage (e.g., markings, underlining, tearing) must be brought to the attention of library staff at the time of issue. Borrowers remain responsible for any subsequent damage or defacement.
- Reference materials—including reference books, periodicals, journals, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and project reports—are strictly for in-house consultation and are not available for borrowing.
- Students are advised to borrow no more than one copy of any given title.
- Borrowing is permitted only in person; proxy borrowing or use of another person’s library card is not allowed.
- Use of any electronic device in a manner that disturbs other users is strictly prohibited.
- Upon completion of their course or tenure, all users must return all borrowed library materials without exception.
- Users are requested to cooperate fully during routine inspection of materials at the time of exit.

The Central Library is closed on all government and designated festival holidays.

Library Automation
Automation
The Central Library is fully automated, using NGL Core Engine version 3.3 Helium Library Software, an advanced Integrated Library Management System (ILMS) with Barcode Technology. This system supports all library operations, including cataloging, circulation, inventory management, and user services, enhancing efficiency and accuracy for both staff and patrons.
OPAC
The library provides an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is open to all the users over the campus wide LAN at the URL: http://192.168.8.202:8080/newgenlibctxt/. 2 PCs are exclusively dedicated for OPAC search to facilitate the users.

Digital Library

The Digital Library features 32 computers, offering seamless access to e-journals like IEEE Xplore and NPTEL video lectures. It is a member of DELNET, enabling resource sharing with partner institutions, and provides access to the National Digital Library of India (NDLI), which offers an extensive collection of e-learning resources through a single-window search.
Digital Library Rules and Regulations
- A valid college identity proof is required to access the Digital Library.
- All students need to record their names in the digital library register located at the entrance.
- Digital Library is intended strictly for academic and research purposes.
- Login IDs and passwords for e-resources will be provided on request. Access to these resources is IP-based and restricted to the college campus.
- Altering the settings or display of library computers is strictly prohibited.
- All computer hardware, software, and accessories must be handled with care.
- Online chatting is not permitted.
- Playing games on computers is strictly not permitted.
- Members will be responsible for the safekeeping of their pen drives, CDs/DVDs, cell phones, wallets, and other personal belongings.

Library Advisory Committee
The Library Advisory Committee (LAC) is constituted by the Principal of the Institution. The committee comprises faculty representatives from each academic department, with the librarian as the convener.
The committee plays a vital role in ensuring that the library remains well-equipped, current, and responsive to academic requirements. It focuses on the acquisition of new books, enhancement of existing resources, and addressing infrastructural and technological needs. Through collective planning and review, the committee strives to maintain a resource-rich library environment that supports the teaching, learning, and research needs of both students and faculty members.
