Electric vehicles are the future of transportation. With the increase in design, research, production, demand and usage of electric vehicles one of the major challenges to address is the charge of EV battery. The aim is this workshop is to introduce students to need, requirements, feasibility of establishing EV charging station.
A two day workshop on EV charging station was conducted on 02nd and 03rd February 2022. The students participated in the workshop enthusiastically and exhibited interest in understanding the challenges in establishing EV charge stations


Title of Event: “Just A Minute (JAM)”

Coordinators: Dr. M .Prasad, Assoc. Professor, Ms. A. Sunantha, Asst. Professor, and Ms G.V Swathi
Just a minute popularly known as JAM is an innovative way of testing the speakers presence of mind, fluency of language, ability to connect their thoughts on the given topic and overall communication skills of the participants. Keeping this in mind JAM technical session was conducted on 22nd December 2021 for the students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering dept.
The participants took up the challenge wholeheartedly and spoke on various topics showcasing their logical flow of thoughts, coherence of ideas, spontaneity and technical knowledge. The judges of the competition were Dr Uma Maheshwari, HOD-Dept of H&BS, Ms Usha Rani, Assoc. Professor, Dept of ECE and Ms. Ch. Indrani, Asst. Professor Dept of H&BS. The prizes were distributes by Dr. S. Mani Kuchibatla HOD- Dept of EEE.
The coordinators of the event were Dr. M .Prasad, Assoc. Professor, Dept of EEE, Ms. A. Sunantha, Asst. Professor, Dept of EEE and Ms G.V Swathi , Asst. Professor, Dept of EEE. The first prize was bagged by Sai Likhitha of IV year, second prize by Ch. Rajesh of II Year, third prize by B. Rakesh of III Year and consolation BY Abhinav Bysetty of III Year. The students found the competition fun filled and educative.

Poster presentation provides students an opportunity to express their ideas and knowledge, demonstrate their organizational ability, improve their communication skill. Keeping this in mind poster presentation was held on 30th December 2021 for the students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering dept.
The participants took up the challenge wholeheartedly and presented posters on various topics showcasing their presentation and communication skill, logical flow of thoughts, coherence of ideas, spontaneity and technical knowledge. The judges of the competition were Dr.Kondal Rao, HOD-Dept of H&BS, Mr. Ganesh Chakravarthy, Dept of H&BS and Dr.C.V.R. Krishna Mohan, Dept of H&BS. The prizes were distributed by Dr. S. Mani Kuchibatla HOD- Dept of EEE.

Title of Webinar: Challenges and Opportunities in Solar & Electric Vehicle Technologies

The webinar went on very well, Number of participants who have Registered are 463 from which both 22 faculty and 441 students are from various Engineering colleges. This webinar has sharply started at 7.00Pm with Inviting talk given by Dr. S Mani Kuchibhatla, Associate Professor & HOD-EEE.
Initially the Resource person stated the webinar by knowing their expectations of the participants from this webinar. Most of the Participants have more Opportunities in Solar PV and scope for Research Topics by the faculty. The session was really enlightening giving so many inputs for areas of research both in teaching and Industrial
sector in systematic & interactive way.
Total number of participants attended and online throughout the session are 116.In total this webinar is very useful to all Participants; this is the feedback from the participants.
