On February 20th, 2025, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) organized a 1-day National Level Online Guest Lecture titled "Wireless Power Transfer: An Electromagnetic and Power Electronics Prospective." The session aimed to provide insights into the latest advancements and future potential of wireless power transfer (WPT) technologies. The event saw the participation of 173 individuals, including students and faculty members from different colleges. Dr. Dharavath Kishan, Assistant Professor at NITK Surathkal, served as the keynote speaker for the lecture. The event began with an introduction of the speaker by Ms. A. Sunantha, Assistant Professor, followed by a welcome address from Dr. Miska Prasad, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Objective of the Guest Lecture:
The primary goal of the lecture was to offer a thorough understanding of the principles and applications of wireless power transfer, focusing on its electromagnetic foundations and power electronics applications. The session aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation in the field of WPT technologies.

A Technical Fest on“URJA- Enlighten, Empower, Energize”,was held at the Department of Electrical &Electronics Engineering of ACE Engineering College from 20th December to 21st December2023.The name "Urja," meaning energy, aptly captures the essence of this event.
The motive of this event is to develop various skills of students in Co-Curricular activities and to expose them to the current trends in the technical and professional fields. URJA, announces several innovative events.
The Technical Festwas attended by around146students from I, II, III, IV EEE of ACE Engineering College.

Inagural Session:
The inauguration took place on 20th December, 2024 at Ramaiah Auditorium. The function started with a prayer, followed by an inspirational speech by Dr. Miska Prasad, Associate Professor HOD EEE, Dr. S Mani Kuchibhatla,Associate Professor, EEE, Mr. M. Rajashekar Associate Professor, EEE and Ms. G. Rajitha, Assistant Professor, EEE. The detailed schedule and participation guidelines of each event were then announced by Ms. G.V. Swathi, Assistant Professor, EEE.
TECHNICAL SESSIONS:
Day 1 (20/12/2024)
Session I:
The morning session of our technical fest commenced with an exciting Technical Quiz event, which witnessed a remarkable participation of 56 registered students.The contestants were divided into 14 teams of three members each. A screening round featuring rapid-fire questions was then conducted, from which the top five teams were selected to advance to the next round of the quiz competition.The event is designed to challenge the participants' understanding of technical concepts, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills.
Session II:
Treasure Hunt
The afternoon session started with Treasure hunt. Treasure Hunt, the idea of hunting for hidden treasures has always been exciting and adventurous. Each team was given a certain number of clues. Each clue corresponded to a location on campus. Teams had to figure out these clues to get to the next one. The response to the competition was overwhelming. More than 60 students participated. The winning teams were rewarded with exciting prizes.
Circuit Design Contest:
The purpose of this competition is to encourage students to gain hands-on practical experience, while applying engineering theories studied in the classroom. In addition, students learn the art of management and teamwork, which are essential skills required in the ‘real-world’. These student teams are required to build a circuit for given problem. A total of 8 teams with a team size of 5 participated in the event.The participants were provided with a problem statement. 20 minutes were given to solve the circuit and get the analytical outputs. After that amongst participants first,second and third winners were judged by experts.
Day 2 (21/12/2024)
Session I:
Day 2 started with Escape room. An escape room is an interactive entertainment experience where a group of players work together to solve a series of puzzles and challenges within a set time limit to "escape" from a themed room, requiring critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills to succeed. 10 Team of 5 people are placed in a themed room with various puzzles and problem statement.
Session II:
Session two featured a diverse range of events that enriched the cultural festival. The solo dance competition showcased individual talents and creativity. The group dance highlighted collective talent and coordination, adding a vibrant and energetic element to the festival. The students mesmerized the audience with their enchanting musical performances, skillfully playing instruments such as the flute, and showcasing their exceptional talent. The students demonstrated their creativity and talent by producing innovative reels on a diverse range of topics, showcasing their skills in storytelling and visual content creation.
Valedictory Session
All the volunteers had given their best to make this event a grand success. The participation was managed because of team work and proper co-operation. Participants are also satisfied and enjoyed a lot in this event.
Ms. G.V.Swathi expressed vote of thanks on behalf of the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering of ACE Engineering College. On behalf of the department, she promised that department will continue its assistance in conducting these sorts of events in future. She expressed our genuine thanks to the College management who also support us in arranging such events. She also expressed our sincere thanks to respected General Secretary Prof.Y.V.Gopala Krishna Murty, Principal, Dr. Dr.B.L. Raju and our beloved HOD, Dr.Miska Prasad for encouraging us in managing such events.

Report on “First Year Parent Teacher Meeting”

Department of EEE organized Parent Teacher Meeting in both online and offline modes for students of I Year I Semester, A.Y. 2024-25 on 14thDecember 2024.The meeting was organized under the guidance of Dr. M. Prasad, Assoc. Prof & HOD-EEE. The parents were intimated over the phone and parent official groups well in advance by Class In charge Ms. A. Sunantha, Asst. Prof and Mentor Mr. D. Ramesh Asst. Prof.
The aim was to provide valuable insights into students’ strengths and areas requiring additional attention. This comprehensive understanding is instrumental in crafting a well-rounded educational experience. Through these one-on-one discussions, parents were informed about their ward’s academic performance and attendance records, received detailed feedback on areas of improvement and success.

Report on “Second Year Parent Teacher Meeting”
Title of the Event: Parent - Teacher Meeting
Held on: 27th Nov 2024
Department of EEE organized Parent Teacher Meeting for II Year I Semester on 27th November 2024, the meeting started at 10.00 am at HOD-EEE chamber. The main objective of meeting was to discuss student’s performance and devise ways to enrich their learning experience. The parents were then allowed to meet the teachers of their wards. Three Parents, Mr.D Sunil Datta Parent of Pavan Kumar (23AG1A0207), Mr. Kashoju Bhaskara Chary Parent of Kashoju Ramyasri (24AG5A0204), Mr. Aradhyula Kedareswara Raju Parent of Aradhyula Nikhilesh (23AG1A0201) reported for the parent-teacher meeting. Parents actively participated in the meeting and enquired mainly about placement and results.
During the meeting Dr. M. Prasad HOD-EEE, and Mr. T. Bhaskar Asst. Prof, actively interacted with parents in one to one as well as in group session. HOD–EEE Dr. M. Prasad informed the parents about the daily class work details and Aadhar Enabled Biometric Attendance and II year I semester MID-I results and requested parents to support them in future endeavors.

Report on “First Year Students Orientation Program”
Title of the Event: Orientation Program
Held On: 06th Sep 2024
The Orientation Program for the newly admitted students for AY: 2024-2025 of EEE, Civil, Mech, and ECE branches was held on 6th September 2024. The major objective of the program was to make the parents and students aware of the academic aspects of the program, the rules and regulations of the college and ensure parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students.
Fore Noon Session 10.00 AM to 1 P.M
The forenoon Session was held centrally in the Ramaiah Auditorium. The program started by 10 am. The dignitaries for the program were: Prof.Y.V.Gopala Krishna Murthy General Secretary, Dr. B.L Raju Principal, Dr. T.Srinivasa Rao Director of Training and Placement cell, Mr. Younus Sharif Director of Trending Technologies, Dr. Murali Krishna Director of Skill Development, Dr. S. Mani Kuchibhatla HOD- EEE, Deans and Heads of other Departments. The The event was hosted by Ms. C. Shobha Reddy, Assoc. Prof., H & S and Ms. K. Priyanka, Asst. Prof., H & S. The program commenced with a prayer song. This was followed by mesmerizing dance performances by senior students.
All Parents and students were addressed by all dignitaries on the dais. HOD EEE appreciated & congratulated all the parents and students for choosing core branches. Director of Trending Technologies Mr. Younus Sharif shed light on the Butterfly program, Dronalaya, Arjuna, Vihaan, Kalam and other training programs of ACE. He stressed the significance of strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, importance of problem solving skills and analytical skills. It was followed by an informative session by Director of Training and Placement cell Director Dr. T.Srinivasa Rao regarding the placement activities carried out by the college. The students were also briefed about the required skills to develop competencies in accordance to the current job market. Director of Skill Development Dr. Murali Krishna guided students to focus on their overall development in technical skills, non-technical skills, and aptitude skills in addition to the academics.
Our Principal, Dr. B.L Raju addressed the gathering with the achievements and milestones that ACE has achieved with constant pursuance of excellence. It was then followed by motivational talk by Prof.Y.V.Gopala Krishna Murthy, General Secretary who emphasized the students to practice positive thinking to keep their minds sharp in order to achieve the maximum of their capabilities. He wished the students well for their maiden academic year in the Engineering stream. After dignitaries address the appreciation certificates were presented to NSS volunteers by Principal and General Secretary.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Balashekar, HOD- H&S. He extended his heartfelt thanks to all those who have contributed to make the orientation program a grand success. The event was concluded by National Anthem. After that all the parents and students were directed to have delightful lunch.
Afternoon Session from 2 P.M to 4. 30 PM
Afternoon session of Orientation day featured insightful Department orientation program which started at 2 PM in Room No.1004 Mallikarjuna Block. Nineteen students along with their parents attended the orientation program. Ms. A. Sunantha, Asst. Prof & First Year class Incharge welcomed the newly admitted students and their parents to the department. She introduced the Head of Department Dr. S Mani. Kuchibhatla to the gathering and invited her on to the dais.
HOD in her illuminating presentation explained about the department from the inception and how it has grown over a period of time. All the faculties were introduced to the students by HOD-EEE. She explained about the curriculum flow chart, attendance, and promotion and detention rules, infrastructure, laboratories, dress code, anti ragging committee, achievements of faculty and students, technical events etc. Students were also briefed about the mentoring, internships, projects, and further suggested to make best use of the lab and faculty to gain knowledge. She urged the students again to concentrate more on improving their skills to match that of a professional’s and to polish their understanding of the basic subjects to boost their knowledge of engineering subjects that they will face in the upcoming years of their academics. The queries of parents and students were cleared by HOD-EEE.
This was followed by session by Director of Training and Placement cell Director Dr. T.Srinivasa Rao who highlighted the remarkable placement achievements of EEE Students. He emphasized upon the importance of soft skills, communication skills, teamwork, analytical skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills. He unveiled that placement activities at ACE begin from the first year and first day of instruction.
This was followed by LinkedIn orientation by Mr. Krishnanand, Asst. Prof Training and placement cell. He motivated the students to create profile on LinkedIn for building and nurturing professional relationship, accessing job opportunities, and establishing a strong online essence in professional world for global reach. Students were briefed about creating profile and connecting with others enabling their networking.
After the LinkedIn session, students, their parents and department staff members assembled in the lawn for a group photo.The session ended with lab visit led by senior faculty members for the students and parents to get them familiarize with the departmental lab infrastructural facilities.
